Lionel 726 Original 1946 Smoke Bulb Model Professionally Restored, Big Red Motor

  
This is a Original 726 Engine made only 1 year 1946! This is the Pride & Joy of my own collection not intending to sell but Life does not always go the way you think.

I only have 1 more like this left but hoping not to have to sell it right now. This has the Very Rare Original High Stack Motor with the very Rare Original 1946 Red Threaded Brush Holders. This motor was Disassembled Cleaned and the Armature face Polished and looked like new.

The motor runs very well nice and strong and the Original Horizontal E Unit shifts as it should. This Original Shell and Chassis was Professionally Restored the Shell was Rubber Stamped In Silver Ink as Original.

This is in Beautiful Restored Condition as Pictures Show comes with Original Hand Rails, Threaded Stanchions, Bell, & Whistle and a Smoke Bulb Assembly and Bulb Holder that is in Excellent Original Condition! This is the 1946 Smoke Bulb Model with the Horizontal E Unit It has on slot in top of Die Cast Shell Made only that Year! The Engine Chassis Frame is in Excellent Condition looks fantastic for being 78 years old. The nickel rimed wheels look Great.

There is no deterioration on the wheels and all are tight and straight on Axles. The Side Rods all look Real Nice also clean and shinny, The Smoke Bulb Flapper, lift rod and clamp all very good. The pick ups and Die Cast Plate are like new. The Internal Gears and Bearings are all in Exceptionally fine condition.

This was completely disassembled cleaned Inspected and lightly oiled with Synthetic oil only no grease. It has had little run time.

This 1946 726 is becoming very hard to find not often seen on E Bay anymore! You would be hard pressed to find another 726 with High Stack Motor with Red Brush plate Any where for sale.
