General Motors EMD factory military desk model of the MRS-1 Military Road Switcher, made in 1952. Specifications encased on the bottom of the wooden base, behind a plastic sheet. Very nice work, engine appears to be made of plaster, brass rails, wooden crossties. Modeled to 1:48 O-Scale. 1600 HP Diesel Miitary Road Switcher, Designed and Built by Electro-Motive Division of General Motors, LaGrange, Ill March 29, 1952.
