Vintage Briggs Kickstart Engine Model Y Motor Sears Runs Great! Here is a nice original Briggs Model Y.

This is one of the most complete Model Y that you are going to find. It does have an appropriate vintage spark plug. This one seems to like to run best with partial choke on the mixer, once set it will sit and run nicely. It does take some kicks to get started.

I own several of these vintage engines in my collection, and they are a great hobby. I have decided to leave the finish as you see it in the photis, you can decide if youd like to restore it any further. This would look great at an engine show, or just have it to teach the grandkids about history!
