For sale here is a vintage 1950's cutaway model of a. This fantastic model was used for educational purposes, but now has a sculptural quality with colours and design very evocative of the 1950's, which makes it a highly decorative item as well as an interesting object.

Sets are used to transmit power and motion between non-intersecting and non-parallel axes. That mesh with each other are involute. And a point contact is made between them. They are the most common gear used in transmissions.

The base is made from Bakelite and the model is made from aluminium that has been cold painted. Obviously this item is not new it has been used in classrooms for teaching.

The Condition is excellent, there are a few slight cosmetic marks as is to be expected in an item of this age, but we have tried to photograph anything of note so please do check all photographs carefully. We are happy for people to collect the item in person. All items are tracked and insured. All items are wrapped in Eco-Wrap and cardboard.
