1953 Harley-Davidson Other
This is a very nice Engine, and it has been rebuilt with 0 miles. The Engine was rebuilt by a very reputable gentleman in California, and I will be willing to share that information with interested buyers. The motor has been started, to ensure no issues. This is a one year only engine, and they only made a few of them. Some people will tell you they made 200, other people will tell you around 600.
The cases are very nice with only one minor repair that was very well done. The Vin number is original, and coincides with the belly number on the case. These cases do not match-however they have been ran together for quite some time. The cases have been spray painted silver, and I have removed as much as possible so you can see the nice cases underneath. With a little lacquer thinner, and a brush-it will peel right off.
This motor is guaranteed to be rebuilt, and will run very nice for somebody. If you are interested-make me an offer. I have many other K model parts that came off the bike including the rare hollow mount 1953 frame, and many other hard to find parts. Check my auctions in the coming days. I will assist in loading, and I will consider meeting you for the price of fuel within 300 or so miles.
