Atwood 049 Water Cooled Outboard Model Boat Engine Motor With Box

  

Please look at the pictures as they are the description. First off I think the engine is seized. The flywheel moves back and forth slightly. I Know nothing about these motors. I do know the whole thing looks like it was sprayed with something to protect it.

Not sure if it has any thing to do with it or not. I don't see any big dents in the aluminum housings. Complete restore or Just a nice polish Its up to you. ++UPDATE++ I took a minute to run some Dawn Dishwashing liquid and a toothbrush across it. The coating wasn't real easy to remove. It honestly looked like cosmolene if you know what that is(guns).

After all its been in the attic at least 40 yrs. Motor appears to be used. Has had a new glow plug? I removed it and filled it with wd-40. Same with Air/Fuel mixture Screw.
