Brand New SC 120 Four Stroke Glow Engine. With instructions as they were in another box. When we first listed we thought they were missing.

Its now as NEW as you will find one. Although all SC Engine Boxes say ABC we are 99% certain the engine is a Ringed Four Stroke Engine as SC did not manufacture an ABC 120 FS engine.

The four strokes were always ringed. There's a small white label on the box that says' ringed. Box slight tatty and repaired with tape. One of the corners has split.

Boxes are not as good as OS boxes of the same type. Engine is in Excellent NEW condition. Complete with Type F OS Plug Fitted (normally no plug fitted). Brand New in the Box See Pictures they are the main description. Getting a NEW one of these is like finding Hens teeth in Rocking Horse Poop. It is quite likely we will take a sensible offer. While an Offer is under consideration the engine remains on sale.

NOTE when we first listed we said it has no instructions. It has we found them in another box. The photographs have taken some time and we have tried to get as many views of the engine as we can. Main part of the description. Note there is one picture showing how compact this OS 120 is comparing it to a OS 20 FS (Theres 6 off those engines in the 120).

The 120-cu inch is a 20cc Glow Motor. Perfect for Large Quarter Scale Biplanes or Similar. Note the listing will go to a default post.

If overseas we may have to charge more for some destinations. NO COLLECTIONS FROM HOME SORRY. Its unlikely to be a problem. Must be in the same unused state as delivered. That is in the UK.

From the estate of a deceased modeller. Note the Prop Nut (Locking Later Type) and the Woodruff Key and prop Driver are in a separate bag in the engine box. The tendency is for the woodruff key to slip out and get lost so only fit it when fitting Prop and Spinner Nut. Typically, SC there was no packing and so components rub together.

It has one or two very slight marks on the silencer and one dirty smudge on the rocker box (see pics) , but then if you could find an SC without the odd mark it would be a miracle. The quality of this later manufactured SC 120 is very good. The Chinese Factory was getting to be a good standard of quality through out all its engine range. No doubt helped by producing 80% of the worlds Model Engine Glows. Many popular engines such as Super Tigre, Thunder Tigre, Evolution, ASP, JEN, WEST were all being manufactured by SC.

The closure has left an empty void regarding available model engines. Its complete with Exhaust and Dad took a Type F Glow Plug out of one of his OS 40 FSs (which he thinks is a new plug) and fitted it to this engine as the SC Plugs were not great and the OS type F was much better. That's included to give you a head start starting and running. The reason theres no new ones is the SC Factory has closed and cease production.
