Antique Vintage Early Old Toy Steam Gas Engine wind up model hit miss tin motor

  

Neat old antique tin toy wind-up engine with original paint. This was made by a company that once produced other versions & sizes of early tin wind-up toys. This company never seemed to put names on their engines.

This steam engine toy also has the original vertical belt drive governor on it. This toy engine was made a long time ago & it has old thick original paint on it. It's an early model & I'd guess it was made around 1895 to 1910.

No history came with the engine; it's just been sitting on a shelf for the last 50 years. Overall it's in good shape with nice original paint but the top of the crank guard has a slight bend in it right before it joins to the top of the cylinder. This would be an easy fix.

Also the wind-up mechanism is all there but is not working & will need messed with. Engine stands about 4-1/2" tall to the top of the governor & has a 2-3/4" diameter flywheel. Thanks & please check out my other items.
