Motor & Sound Effector Units. Produced by Marushin, a Japanese model company known for their highly detailed quality models, this 1948 Harley Davidson Panhead model is one of their most rare and collectable models. Sadly, the Marushin factory burned down and the company is no longer in business. This is a factory-built example. Factory-built version comes preassembled on the motor unit and the motor unit is silver, rather than black (as used on the optional version). The sound unit, which is included with this listing, is extremely rare - near impossible to find. The motor unit makes the engine operational and includes a throttle grip for revving the engine from idle to full rpm. Valve, cam, piston, connecting rod and pushrod action can be seen with the valve covers removed.

The Sound Effector brings a whole new level of realism and enjoyment. The Sound Effector has its own speaker and volume control or the unit could be connected to a larger speaker and amplifier for even greater sound quality. Here's a video that demonstrates the model with the sound unit installed. All items are brand new.

The engine comes with full instructions. The engine is built with screws and nuts - it is possible to disassemble and reassemble it, if desired. The motor power supply is US 110-120 voltage.
