Here is a very neat and small old electric. I think it would make an excellent display with a model gas engine. I think it would be from the early 1900's The brass parts of the commutator appear to have come unglued or whatnot. I think they are all there but they would just need to be put back in place, I think it would be a very easy fix.

No wear can be felt on the moving parts. About 4-1/4" total height, about 3-3/4" to the top of the motor frame. Weighs about 2-1/2 lbs before any box or packing material.
