This H73 Holt Engine Model is a masterpiece of miniature engineering. Every component, from the cylinder block and overhead valves to the piping and radiator, is meticulously fabricated from brass and stainless steel, resulting in a beautiful golden-silver finish that demands attention.
More than a model, it's a working engine. It runs on a mix of 95# gasoline and is ignited by common AA batteries (3 pcs, not included). The included wooden base provides a stable platform and houses the simple ON/OFF switch. The process of starting it-priming the fuel line, engaging the switch, and turning the flywheel-is part of the authentic, hands-on experience. How to Start the Engine.
Connect the fuel line from the tank and install 3 AA batteries (4.5V) into the base. Fill the tank with 95# gasoline. Rotate the flywheel clockwise several times to draw fuel into the cylinder.
Turn the power switch ON, then quickly rotate the flywheel clockwise again to start the engine. Requires fuel mix preparation and proper carburetor adjustment for optimal operation (adjustment instructions are included in the original text). Always turn the power switch OFF when not in use. Recommended for ages 16+ due to small parts and use of fuel.
